I have a shopping addiction. . .

I don't know what it is, but ever since I moved to Orlando I have adopted an addiction to shopping. It doesn't matter what it is, I will spend money on it. I honestly do not rake in enough money to support this, but it makes me really happy when purchasing things. So I am making a new post weekly on what I blew my money on. Feel free to tell me how retarded I am.

I went to a shop today on my lunch break named Sweet Boutique in Downtown Orlando. After seeing their ads in local newspapers and on Facebook I decided it would be a cute little shop. Boy was I wrong! Not only was it a waste of my gas but the selection of clothes was just awful. Very cheaply made dresses and tops priced way too high. What is it with locally owned boutiques that sell poor quality fashion and charging ungodly amounts of money. Needless to say, I was not pleased and walked out of the store without a purchase.

My mission at lunch today was to buy SOMETHING, as I have been feeling since yesterday a little down and out. So, I passed by an Aveda salon and figured I could get some advice from a stylist on some products for my hair. She gave me this detoxifying shampoo that hopefully it will treat my bright ass blonde hair and make it healthy again, I will keep you posted.

My hair dresser in Tallahassee always blew my hair out with this Moroccan Oil stuff. It smells amazing and makes your hair feel so healthy and soft. A plus it also makes your hair super shiny! I would totally recommend it. I got a bottle of this today as well. Yummy!

If you haven't noticed from my last post my hair magically grew. Some call them extensions, I call it my weave. Anyways, this is one purchase I made a couple weeks ago that I do not regret. It cost more than rent but I have more self esteem than ever. I love it...

I get paid Friday I have made a list of things to blow my money on already:
  • Black Denali NorthFace Jacket [Not stylish just comfort, and I have been dying for one]

  • Tickets to the New Found Glory, Saves the Day, and HelloGoodbye show at House of Blues [Donnie and I are going pre-valentines day celebration]

  • Make-up session with Lena G [She did my extensions, my girl hooks it up]

  • M.A.C. make-up [Trying to become a barbie, I need some make-up to become FIERCE]

  • Hot pink Vogue dress from Lulu*s [For either Valentine's Day or my birthday]

Thoughts on my future purchases????

  1. I just got my hair done and my hairdresser used the moroccan oil on my hair as well! I didn't buy it because I already spent way too much money on my hair...but my other hairdresser uses Chi oil...so I was debating which one to get! Will definitely get the Moroccan oil now!

Your future purchases sound fun ;) I'm currently buying some mac makeup online as I type :)

  2. My shopping addiction seriously worsened when I moved to DC. And a year and a half later, it hasn't let up. I just can't pass up the amazing boutiques we have right around the corner from where I live and work!

  3. The dress from LuLu's is to die for. I have never even heard of that web site, so thanks for the news. As for a cute boutique in Orlando-try Stahli( Waterford Lakes)- it's cute and somewhat reasonably priced.

  4. I think anything from Lulu's is a great buy. Their dresses are so adorable. It's hard to pick just one sometimes.
