Okay guys, I need help. I have gone through a million digital cameras, and most of them were used for capturing moments with friends and events. Most of them were either stolen, broke, or the picture quality was horrible and I just didn't feel like exchanging it. I own a digital camera right now but lemme tell you, it is from like 1995. It takes only batteries and my blackberry has better picture quality than the ancient thing does.I am asking bloggers to help with a camera that is more professional and can be use for mutiple purposes. I want to take photographs that are beautiful and pictures that capture life. I have seen many fashion blogs have great photo quality and I know it isn't from the regular digital camera you buy from walmart or target.
Any suggestions? I am not really looking at the price range but I would like to keep it under $500. Thanks guys!

I wish I could give you some good advice but I'm not loving my camera right now either. I would LOVE to own a SLR but I just can't afford it right now. One day :) Let us know what you end up getting!

ReplyDeleteI can't give you great camera advice (I have the one from the Ashton Kutcher commercials, and how sad is that I don't even know the name lol) however, I cannnnn tell you that much of the power is in great editing. I have been using Picasa (which is a free download through Google) for a long time, but I just recently discovered the "tuning" and "effects" tabs. WOW, what I was missing! Messing with the warmth, shadows, etc has COMPLETELY changed my pictures! Now I'm going through tons of old photos that I thought were crappy because of the camera, and editing them to get great pictures. Hope this helps a little!
