UPDATED-TRICK or TREAT

Halloween has got to be one of the only holidays I actually look forward to. Dressing up into something completely out of character always excites me. Honestly, what girl never dressed up as a pretty princess when they were little? As we grew, the princess act turned into a ballerina to a playboy bunny to our favorite TV show character.
Throughout the years, I have been every "sexy" costume you could purchase from a costume shop. Although I would like to think that I have grown out of that phase and moved on to more unique costumes, they always hold a special place in my heart. That being said, I made my own not so sexy costume this year, which I won't update on until after Halloween. It just kills my excitement to get dressed before the actual day!!
[vampire, if you couldn't tell]
Earlier this year, I attended one of my girlfriends 21st birthday party buses which was the theme of "vampires", of course. Not knowing what in the hell to wear I just wore some black, lace tunic I got from Forever 21 and paired it with an old red belt that I had to pin so it didn't look so sloppy. As for shoes, I wore some old, costume red pumps from Halloween a few years back, and I just went with it. Oh and I can't forget my 15 dollar fangs I purchased, that I inevitably swallowed by the end of the night. Yes, I will admit, in drunken oblivion.
I feel like I dressed as vampire as I could be, without of course looking pale, that's the only thing I refused to do. It is the WORST look on me and I had already messed up my smokey eye, ha.

As I said before, my outfits have ranged from everything sexy, but I think it is the way you accessorize that make your costume. It takes alot of thought into what you put into your attire this very night. So, what is everyone else going to be this Halloween season??

UPDATE--1/8/2010

This halloween had to be the worst halloween I have ever had in my whole life. I will remember next time to make a game plan on this amazing holiday. The only good thing was that people actually recognized who I was dressed up as! And if you have no clue, I was Sookie Stackhouse from Trueblood. I put it together all on my own. They had one on the HBO.com website but my version was definately better, and a whole lot cheaper!

I am sick of dressing up, I'm not doing it this year. I know what you mean, I've worn each and every sexy Leg Avenue costume there is. Enough already, for me at least!

  6. Oooh, love the sailor outfit! Can't believe you swallowed your fangs... LOL. Halloween isn't really celebrated much over here, so I haven't dressed up since I was a teenager.
